Cancellation & No-Show Policy

At Emava Hairdressing, we understand that plans can change. However, appointments are reserved specifically for each client, and late cancellations or missed appointments can prevent us from offering the time to another client.

To ensure we can continue to provide a high level of service to all our clients, the following cancellation policy applies to all appointments.

 

Cancellation with more than 48 hours’ notice

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours’ notice will not incur a cancellation charge.

 

Cancellation within 48 hours

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time will incur a charge of 50% of the booked service value.

 

Cancellation within 24 hours

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will incur a charge of 100% of the booked service value.

 

No-Show Appointments

If you fail to attend your appointment without providing notice, the appointment will be treated as a no-show and 100% of the booked service value will be charged.

Clients who arrive significantly late may also be treated as a cancellation if there is insufficient time remaining to carry out the booked service safely and to the required standard. The applicable cancellation charge may then be applied.

 

How cancellation charges are collected

Where applicable, cancellation and no-show charges may be collected using:

• The card details securely held on our booking system

• A payment link sent to you

• An invoice issued to you for payment

By making an appointment with Emava Hairdressing, you acknowledge and agree to these cancellation and no-show terms.

 

Rescheduling

We are always happy to accommodate changes to appointments where possible. However, rescheduling an appointment within the applicable cancellation period will be treated in the same way as a cancellation and may result in a cancellation charge.

We appreciate your understanding that late cancellations and missed appointments directly affect our salon and our stylists, as the reserved appointment time cannot always be rebooked at short notice.

If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please contact the salon as soon as possible.
