Robert began his incredible career as an apprentice, training to the highest standard under the guidance of multi–award-winning Graham Lovesey. During this time, he developed the essential skills that would lay the foundation for his future success.

He went on to work with internationally renowned companies such as Glemby, Alan Paul, House of Clive, and Vidal Sassoon, where he gained further expertise, knowledge, and the confidence to elevate his passion for hairdressing to the next level.

Early in his career, Robert made his mark on the competition circuit, becoming an award-winning hairdresser with numerous titles to his name. His dedication, hard work, and true love for the craft eventually led to the realization of his dream: opening his own successful salon.

In 2018, Robert founded Emava, a brand built on creativity, excellence, and vision. Building and nurturing his team has been one of his greatest achievements, and he remains committed to growing the Emava brand while shaping its exciting future.
